Bringing Metal art to life.
From a young age, growing up in Lancashire, art captivated me. I traded textbooks for sketchbooks, finding particular joy in transforming flat sheets of paper into intricate origami sculptures. This early fascination sparked a lifelong journey to becoming an artist.
Studying Art Design at Burnley College further fueled my passion, shifting my focus from traditional art to the captivating world of sculpture. I soon discovered the power of metal, learning welding and fabrication techniques that would become the foundation of my artistic expression.
For 30 years, I've been shaping metal into unique, timeless, pieces of art. My sculptures are characterised by strong, clean flowing lines, bold structures, and contemporary abstract shapes. I create a signature texture by carefully hand-graining the surface of each piece, which serves as a distinctive characteristic of my artwork.
Metal is such a versatile medium. The ability to cut, bend, and weld allows me to explore endless possibilities, pushing the boundaries of shape and form to create sculptures that are not only visually appealing but also evoke a sense of calm. The smooth, cool, minimalist curves and lines invite you to touch and connect with the artwork.
I'm a solo artist and personally design and build each abstract sculpture from start to finish, giving every piece my artistic touch. No team, just me, my dedication and vision. Every meticulously hand-crafted sculpture arrives ready to install making it simple to bring a piece of my art directly into your garden.
My mind is always buzzing with ideas, drawing inspiration from the world around me, from nature's forms to everyday objects - everything holds potential. When I'm not in the workshop, I'm sketching, dreaming up new sculptures, and eager to bring my next vision to life.
